Her work soon carried her far beyond the UK, taking her to Hong Kong and across Asia, where she played a key role in the opening of several Ritz-Carlton hotels — a formative chapter that strengthened her global perspective and deepened her expertise in luxury travel.

On returning to London, Joanne continued to flourish in the city’s most prestigious circles, spending more than 20 years with Maybourne and the Oetker Collection. Her experience across these renowned brands has shaped a trusted, world-class understanding of high-end travel, making her a discerning guide for clients seeking something truly special.

Most of Joanne’s career has been rooted in London, where she has cared for heads of state, overseen prestigious corporate events, and crafted exquisitely tailored experiences for an international clientele. Known for “making the impossible happen,” she brings together creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a naturally caring manner, ensuring every guest feels genuinely looked after.

Her curiosity for the wider world has always guided her, and it was during her early years in hospitality that she became deeply fascinated by Japanese culture — its harmony, precision, and quiet sophistication. This interest grew into a true passion: she travelled to Japan, immersed herself in the language, studied its customs, and worked within the local hospitality landscape to fully understand the expectations of Japanese guests.

Her affinity for Asia extended further during her years working across the region, and her time in both China and Japan left a lasting imprint on her approach to service. On a recent return to Japan, she spent several months reconnecting with the country she adores — exploring its ever-evolving hotel scene and rediscovering its unique sense of place, an experience that continues to inform and inspire her work today.

With a lifelong love of travel and an instinctive understanding of what makes a journey truly memorable, Joanne takes great delight in curating exceptional itineraries.
